Form 5500 / 5500-EZ

Compliance

Annual reports filed with the IRS and Department of Labor that provide detailed information about a retirement plan's financial condition, investments, and operations. Solo 401(k) plans must file Form 5500-EZ when total plan assets exceed $250,000 at the end of the plan year. Filing is due by the last day of the seventh month after the plan year ends (July 31 for calendar-year plans).
