MEP (Multiple Employer Plan)

Plan Types

A retirement plan sponsored by two or more unrelated employers, allowing them to pool resources and share administrative costs. MEPs can make offering a retirement plan more affordable for small businesses. Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs), created by the SECURE Act, are a newer variation that removes some barriers to MEP participation.
