QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution)

Distributions

A direct transfer of funds from an IRA to a qualified charity that counts toward satisfying your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) but is not included in taxable income. QCDs are available to IRA owners age 70½ or older, with an annual limit of $105,000 (2024). This strategy can reduce your tax burden while supporting charitable causes.
